The Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology and Materials Science always updates its technical base for the high-quality educational and scientific process of students, graduate students, and teachers.

The department has a modern laboratory of mechanical processing and coordinate measurements. The laboratory was created by the department together with Interpipe, LLC VariUS and LLC "Mashintech" partners - a well-known suppliers of machine tools and other metalworking equipment and materials from the world's most famous manufacturers. The laboratory has high-precision equipment with software control for blade turning and milling of products from various materials, engraving and milling machines with CNC - training, laser engravers with software control, crimping devices, honing machines, measuring multi-coordinate machines with CNC for controlling the shape and dimensions of complex profiles products, etc. 

The department also has two modern computer classrooms with multimedia facilities and the Internet. Modern licensed software for the educational process of students and scientific work of graduate students and teachers is installed on personal computers. The computer classrooms also conduct face-to-face and distance courses in an online format, where not only students, but also employees of machine-building enterprises of Ukraine get an education. Also, the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology and Materials Science has its own software control laboratory, which is equipped with a personal computer with the necessary engineering programs, an educational milling machine with CNC, multimedia and the Internet. Students of the department successfully perform laboratory and practical tasks, and graduate students test their next scientific creations and experiments in the field of mechanical processing.
